DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH ME?

ABOUT ME

Photography has always been a passion of mine, and it all started with one fateful day at the youth festival. I had recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy camera, eager to capture my friend’s performance on stage. Little did I know that this simple decision would kickstart my journey as a photographer.

As I was getting ready to take pictures of my friend’s performance, one of my batchmates approached me and insisted that I participate in the Photo exhibition competition being held at the same festival. Initially hesitant, I decided to give it a shot and clicked around 80 photos of nature – flowers, bees, trees – before my friend’s performance began.

As fate would have it, during the prize distribution ceremony later that day, both my friend and I were awarded first place in our respective categories. To our surprise, both mine and my batchmate’s photos were chosen as winners for the exhibition! It turned out to be a tie between us which left us both ecstatic with joy. It was an unforgettable moment where I received recognition for something that started off as just a hobby.

But that wasn’t the end of it – in fact, it was only the beginning. As promised to my friend earlier in the day, I took 1,000 more photos of my friend throughout the duration of the festival. With each shutter button click, I realized how much joy photography brought me. From capturing candid moments to experimenting with different angles and lighting techniques, photography allowed me to express myself in ways that words could not.

My love for photography continued even after leaving college; so much so that I even landed a part-time job as a photographer at Lovely Professional University’s DSA (Department Student Association) during my Post-Graduation. Being able to work as a professional photographer further honed my skills and taught me important lessons about dedication and hard work.

Looking back now, purchasing that Samsung Galaxy camera was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It opened up doors for me in ways I never thought possible and paved the way for what is now an integral part of who I am today – a passionate photographer.
